The 6.2L diesel made its debut in 1982. A clean sheet design from Detroit Diesel, then a subsidiary of GM, this fuel sipping V8 would go on to power millions of trucks, vans, suburbans, HMMWVs and CUCVs. Named for the section of the factory GM manual where 6.2L diesel engine assembly and maintenance are outlined in great detail, this shirt is a vintage styled tribute to the powerplant that got me into building cars and trucks in the first place.
